Singapore Haul + Review Part 2: Bioderma, Bio Oil, Tresemme, Clinique

Hi all,
Today I will do a review about the rest of products I got in Singapore. You can read my part 1 here

Bio Oil

From their website:

"Bio‑Oil is a specialist skincare oil that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. It is also effective for aging and dehydrated skin. Bio‑Oil has won 85 skincare awards and has become the No.1 selling scar and stretch mark product in 11 countries since its global launch in 2002."

This is a repurchase for me. I got it for the first time in Australia. I think the price is cheaper in Singapore. I love this product.

Price: S $ 15.50

Bioderma Sensibio H20

From Bioderma website:

Method of Action:
At the cutting edge of innovation, BIODERMA has pioneered micellar solutions. Specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skins, the Sensibio H2O micelle solution gently cleanses face and eyes. It removes water-resistant make-up.
The micelles contained in its formula effectively micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin’s balance (soap-free, physiological pH).

Soothing and decongesting active ingredients prevent the feelings of irritation often caused by cleansing.

Sensibio H2O guarantees excellent cutaneous and ocular tolerance (tested under ophthalmological supervision).

Directions for use:
Sensibio H2O is an ultra-mild cleansing formula, use it with the utmost care.
Soak a cotton pad with Sensibio
H2O and cleanse the face and eyes and/or remove any make-up.
Repeat the application until the cotton pad remains clean.

Sensibio H2O needs no rinsing, but it is essential to dry your skin. Dry gently. Dab your face with a clean cotton towel.

Sensibio H2O can be used daily, morning and evening.

Models backstage using this product, Youtube gurus recommend it, makeup artists swear by this French brand, Bioderma is very popular now.

So far I like this product to cleanse my face. It does a wonderful job taking off my foundation and concealer.  It leaves my skin fresh and clean, without nasty oil residue. Like the name, it just like water! an amazing water.

For eye makeup? That’s a different story. I don’t think it works well taking off my waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I need so much product! Need so many rubbing to finally being able to take them off. It just too much effort, I prefer my L’oreal Eye and Lip Makeup Remover to do that. I prefer a more oil base product to clean my waterproof makeup.

Price: S $ 12.70

Tresemme Dry Shampoo

I love Klorane Dry Shampoo, when I found out this Tresemme one was bigger and slightly cheaper, I bought it without hesitation. Turn out this product is not working for me. Bad, bad, bad dry shampoo. When sprayed to my roots it feels wet and sticky, even when I sprayed sparingly. When dries out it leaves a nasty white residue on my hair which really hard to brush out. I will not buy this again, not recommend it to other people.

Price: S $ 13.90

Clinique Pore Refining Solution Hydrator

From Clinique website:
“After mattifying instantly, this oil-free formula supplies needed hydration while curbing excess oil and shine for 8 hours. Even T-Zones feel fresh, stay comfortably matte. Instantly refines the look of pores with unique light-scattering optics. Over time, pores seem smaller. Non-acnegenic.”

An impulse buys at the airport and until now I still have a mixed feeling about this product. For me it just likes a regular moisturizer for oily skin. It a does a great job mattifying my face, gives a nice silky feel, light and easy to absorb, seems quite good controlling oil, but it doesn’t refine my pore like its claiming to be and sometimes I find this product not moisturizing enough. For a price like this I expect something better.

S $ 58
